The Problem

The project explored the commercial viability of converting recycled PET bottles into affordable 3D-printing filament while creating a scalable business model.

My Role

Worked as co-founder and financial lead, building the financial case and connecting operational assumptions with investment decisions.

The Analysis

Built a five-year integrated financial model covering capital requirements, revenue scenarios, costs and investment viability using WACC, NPV, IRR and payback analysis.

The Audience

Students, educational institutions, makerspaces, small businesses, startups, designers and hobbyists.

Financial perspective

The model evaluated ₹25L+ in capital requirements and tested the project's ability to create long-term value through projected cash flows and investment metrics.
